Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor (EPC) Training
About this course
This virtual classroom course teaches participants to survey domestic buildings and produce accurate Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). EPC qualifications are legally required when properties are sold, let, or involved in certain government grant schemes. The training addresses Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) regulations affecting rental properties.
Day 1: Introduction to domestic energy assessment, EPC legislation, RdSAP methodology, conventions, virtual tour, and software training.
Day 2: Continued EPC work, second virtual tour, software calculations.
Day 3: Assessment completion, portfolio guidance, LMS introduction, Q&A.
Delivered live online via Zoom with interactive sessions. Students must complete a portfolio of five example EPC projects and electronic assignments with personal tutor guidance after the course.
