Non-Domestic EPC (NDEA) Training
About this course
This course equips learners to survey buildings and produce accurate Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for non-domestic properties. The training addresses the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) requirements, which prohibit letting properties rated F or G on the EPC scale.
Day 1: Non-domestic EPC fundamentals, theory, methodology, measuring, zoning, virtual site survey, software setup.
Day 2: City & Guilds assignments, iSBEM introduction, EPC 1 data input (general and geometry).
Day 3: Building services (L3/L4), EPC 1 completion, new-build processes, Part L, U-Values, EPC 2 data input.
Day 4: EPC 2 completion, SBEM compliance, portfolio guidance, Q&A.
Delivered live online via Zoom with interactive virtual case studies and real-time tutor interaction. Awarded by City & Guilds (Registration 6361-08). Students complete a 3-EPC portfolio with guided electronic assignments and tutor support after the course.
